The Great Outdoors

Mount Rainier National Park, located about 30 miles east of Graham, is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts in the area. With opportunities for hiking, biking, and mountaineering, Mount Rainier has something for everyone. The most intrepid adventurers can opt to climb all the way to the peak at just over 14,000 feet tall! The wildflowers in the meadows surrounding the mountain bloom spectacularly each summer. Just south in Eatonville is a family-friendly option, the Rainbow RV Resort on Lake Tanwax. The resort offers sites with full hookups in addition to dry sites with no hookups, and each overnight stay includes two passes to fish from the resort’s dock. Amenities also include laundry facilities, boat rentals, and a store on the premises. If you rent an RV with your family, this is a great option.

There is a Walmart Supercenter just north of Graham, that may allow you to park overnight with the manager’s permission. There are several gas stations and grocery stores in the city, so no need to stock up in advance.

Exploring the City

The annual Tacoma Highland Games are one of the events hosted at Frontier Park in Graham. With vendors, pipe band competitions, and clan societies, the highland games are a vibrant celebration of Celtic culture and heritage. There are also highland dancing and athletic competitions, making for an action-packed day. With your camper rental in Graham, you can be first in line for this unique event.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium is home to an amazing variety of land and sea animals. Once you’ve visited all the animals, you can explore the rest of Point Defiance Park, which boasts beautiful gardens, hiking trails, and a sandy beach.
