The Great Outdoors

Seattle is known as the Emerald City because it is so green, and this is also true for many cities and areas in this region of the country. Kingston doesn’t compare in size to Seattle, but it is still possible to access many of the amazing outdoor destinations without all the big city traffic.

RV Parks

Camping is extremely popular in this part of the Pacific Northwest, which means you’ll have plenty of RV park options when you rent a motorhome from Kingston. In nearly every direction that is driveable you’ll run into an RV park in less than an hour. One of the nearest, and definitely a more unique, option is the Far Bainbridge Park south of Kingston. This RV park borders the Puget Sound and has over 1,400 feet of shoreline for guests to use. The park has standard hookup options for guests, with both pull through and back in sites. There is also a small convenience store that sells propane, food, and fuel on location for ultimate convenience.

Exploring the City

Kingston RV rentals by owner are a convenient way to explore the area, but be sure to explore Kingston itself before you hit the road. This small town has grown a lot since its early settlement days as a lumber mill, and as it has grown, it has adapted to become a delightful tourist destination. One of the main conveniences in town is the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry, which connects the town of Kingston with the mainland with a short ferry ride across the Puget Sound. This ride is worth taking even just for fun since it gives a unique view of the Puget Sound and Kingston.

We rented this Sprinter van for a road trip to Montana with three kids in tow and couldn’t have asked for a better setup! Four families traveled together — each with their own van — and ours easily stood out for comfort and thoughtful amenities.

Jay was really great and the RV was perfect. Wy wife and my first time in an RV, let alone driving one. The reviews that say "turnkey" are right on. Jay has everything ready and available. He is also very available for questions if you have them on the trip. Great sized RV for family. Kitchen with stove, fridge, central air/heat, bathroom all worked great. Super easy for first timer. Definitely recommend. Picture is from Quileute, out at La Push.

This our first time trying a camping van/class b camper. This is a perfect unit to try out and we loved it. Cari and Rodger were so helpful and the van was ready to go with everything you might need. They also prepare videos with a guide to everything on the van that you can review as needed. We had a great trip. Thank you.
