The city of Leavenworth is often referred to as a "Bavarian Village." Situated in the center of the Pacific Northwest, it will feel as though you have been transported to the heart of Germany, with the unique architecture drawing travelers from all over the country and beyond. If you want to get away from it all without going very far at all, then Waterfront Park is the place to head.
