The Great Outdoors

Securing a Fremont RV rental by owner is one of the easiest ways to ensure that you’re going to be able to see as much of Northern California as you want. Located within Fremont city limits is the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Thanks to the Refuge’s 15 different types of habitats, there is a great amount of biodiversity in the park. Visitors can canoe or kayak through the tributaries or hike along the trails. Be sure to stay quiet because you may be able to spot a rare coastal bird!

RV Parks

There are very few RV Parks in the Fremont area. However, there are several RV parks in the surrounding towns. Check out The Fair Park RV at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The RV sites have full hook-ups, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi. Just north in San Leandro is Trailer Haven. This park offers Wi-Fi, full hook-ups, and it is pet-friendly!

Exploring the City

Thanks to the wide roads in Fremont, you can easily drive the RV around the city. But don’t forget, if you don’t want to drive around the city, you can take the VTA around town.

We had a wonderful experience with this RV! It was our very first time renting an RV, and the host was incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful. She spent almost an hour carefully walking us through every detail — how to operate everything, what to watch out for, and shared lots of helpful tips. Thanks to her clear explanations, we felt confident and had a smooth, worry-free trip. We truly appreciate her time and kindness, and would definitely reach out to her again in the future if we rent an RV. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful trip, thanks in large part to Rachel and the great travel vehicle. Very comfortable, clean and easy to drive. Hope to connect again next year for our annual event in Santa Cruz!

We had a perfect RV trip !!!The vehicle was super new, easy to drive, and fully equipped. The water tank was huge: the two of us only used half of it over two days. With the solar panels and the extra portable power station provided by the owner, we had zero worries about electricity and could use everything freely.
