The Great Outdoors

For many, visiting Colorado is a chance to get out and take part in the outdoors, and hiking the trails is one of the best ways to do that. At Gunnison National Forest, you can hike the Rustler’s Gulch trail, one of best known in the area, which runs for nine miles with over 1,700 feet of elevation gain. This out-and-back trail has fantastic landscapes and views of the virescent forest all around, and there are waterfalls to find. While the previous trail is for more experienced hikers, there are still many more trails in the area that range from easy-breezy to hard and challenging. One easy trail is the two-mile-long Judd Falls Trail, which features a spectacular view of a waterfall. This trail shouldn’t take long to finish and will leave you with plenty of time to do some exploring with your RV rental from Penrose.

RV Parks

After traveling the state in search of the next great adventure, you might decide to call it a day and find yourself searching for somewhere to sleep and, most importantly, park. Fortunately, this part of Colorado is in no short supply of RV parks. Just nearby in Colorado Springs, you can stop by Mountaindale Cabins and RV Resort, which is surrounded by trees and has plenty of parking spaces for your Penrose RV rental. There are many other RV parks and resorts in the area that have amenities that range from fast Wi-Fi to laundry rooms and much more.

Exploring The City

By this point, it is clear that Colorado provides a variety of outdoor adventures, but going to the city and exploring the concrete jungles of cities like Denver and Boulder are their own kind of adventure. In Denver, there is so much to do that you might need to create an itinerary, but at least you won’t be bored. Whether it’s caching a game with the local professional football team or visiting the orchestra for a riveting instrumental performance, Denver has much more to offer than you realize.

Great rental. Ryan is excellent to work with. He is very communicative when setting up a time to meet and answers questions about the RV. He spends all the time you need showing you the RV and getting you set up and connected. His RV is fully stocked with anything you could want or need. He is so easy to work with and reasonable, too. He is honest and upfront, and I can see why he is a Super Host. This camper has it all. Comfortable bedding, AC, furnace, kitchen, toilet, and shower. We camped at Mueller State Park, and it was perfect. You can't go wrong with the value, communication, and RV amenities..

Great experience with Mike. Trailer was clean, came with everything you need to camp, and great communication. Generator rental was also a great add on. Will rent again!

Great camper and hosts. We towed it to a beautiful mountain lake where the temperatures were hot during the day and cool at night. The camper a/c and vented heat made it so comfortable. The Slideout made it roomy and the back bunk room with an actual door was perfect for the friends we were with. It towed easily up and down the mountains with my F-150 with max trailer tow package. The hosts communicated very well with us throughout the process.
