Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Originally settled in the early 19th century, the town that would one day become known as Massillon was called Kendal. The name was changed in 1826 when the city’s founder, James Duncan, named it after a French Catholic bishop (at the request of his wife). It became a major port town along the canal route, originally known as the Port of Massillon. When you enjoy RV rentals in Stark County, you’ll be close to some amazing rich history as well as the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

If you wish to stay a little bit closer to Massillon, head south to visit the Beach City Wildlife Area near Beach City where you can enjoy some amazing wildlife and beautiful terrain. If you’re looking for something bigger, perhaps more impressive, head north past Akron and check out the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
