The rows of cypress trees that grow along the bank of Gantt Lake offer the perfect shaded spot, be sure to get their early.
Camping at Gantt Lake
Those RV camping at Gantt Lake will have a handful of choices when it comes to picking a campground. This all depends on the campers' preferences and how close they wish to be to the lake itself. On the southernmost shore is the ‘Gantt Lake RV Park.’ Full hookups are provided here, including 20, 30 amp electric, water, and a sewage hookup. Facilities include a laundrette, flushing toilets, and a shower block. Free WiFi is also included for today’s modern campers. Pets are most welcome at Gantt Lake RV Park but must be kept on a leash at all times.

The nearby city of Montogomery is a rich and diverse city full of history, culture, and sight-seeing opportunities. The perfect family-fun day out surely must incorporate a trip to the ‘Montgomery Zoo & Mann Wildlife Learning Museum.’ The zoo was first opened in the early 70s and offers over seven hundred and fifty animals, covering over a hundred different species. The zoo is divided into areas that incorporate animals from Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The attached ‘Mann Wildlife Learning Museum’ allows visitors to get up close and personal with preserved specimens.
