We're not a business, we're just a family with a toyhauler that we can rent out. We've done some customizing on the camper for dry camping or "boondocking" in remote locations, we love it.

Toy HaulerRental #33521

Our toyhauler travel trailer has solar power and big tanks so you can camp anywhere with or without hookups. Go to those remote places and still enjoy the comforts of home. Put the rear ramp down and load up your ATV or motorcycles or golf cart or whatever. Once you unload, you have a nice big living room! With the rear ramp down you also have a large screened window, we love to back up to lakes or streams and camp.

  • Sleeps: 4 guests
  • Fresh water tank: 50 gallons
  • Gray water: 41 gallons
  • Black water: 31 gallons

Enhance your trip

  • Normal dust is OK but if there is food mess or pet odors or if the waste tank has not been dumped we charge this fee.

  • Depending on when and where, we may be able to take the trailer to your campsite and pick it up after your trip. $5 per mile from zip code 48103 to your campsite. I know that's a lot but remember we have to drive 4x these miles to drop off and pick up.

  • A big box of scraps from the wood shop. Nice kiln dried wood, great for starting a fire in the firepit

The toy hauler was exactly right for my trip up north (two people, two motorcycles). Everything worked as expected and I had no issues. The owner was very responsive in communication, provided very detailed and thorough instructions and was eager to receive any feedback that could improve my rental experience.

We had a great experience with Erik and Laura's toy hauler! Both were very friendly and explained everything that we needed to know for our trip, and were flexible on pick up and drop off times. The toy hauler is very nicely outfitted and maintained and tows great with the load distributing hitch they provide. We're already looking at renting it again for our next trip!

We were extremely happy with Erik and Laura's toy hauler! Wonderful and kind people who opened up their home on wheels for us to experience an amazing trip! The 5 stars in all categories speak for themselves! Happy trails! Denise, Dave & Kathleen

The camper was great and Erik was fantastic to work with. I would rent an RV from him again.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Depends on the date, often we can be flexible if there isn't another renter the day before or the day after you. Just ask.

Q.What fits in the toyhauler?
A.
The rear door opening is 72" wide and about 72" high. Some big side-by-sides and some golf carts with roofs on are too tall. It can carry 2 or 3 motorcycles easily, more if they are small and light. There are built in chock mounts and tiedown points for bikes. Most ATV's and golf carts fit fine. Kayaks, canoes, windsurfers, all kinds of stuff are no problem. There is a floorplan with dimensions in the photos, so you can measure and see. Of course I am happy to answer questions.

Q.What runs on the solar power?
A.
The fridge, water heater, water pump, furnace, interior lights all run on solar power or solar power and propane. The outlets in the camper run on solar power, it is strong enough to charge phones and laptops, run a fan, etc. But it's not strong enough for an electric coffeepot. Use the stove instead :-)

Q.What about the air conditioning?
A.
The air conditioning and the microwave will NOT run on solar power. For those you need to be plugged into the post at a campground or have a large enough generator. We supply adapter plugs for the common campground outlets and generator outlets.
