Congress, Arizona is a small town, located in the central portion of the state. The town is situated off of US 60, and the nearest large city is Phoenix, around 80 miles to the southwest. Congress was founded during the gold rush, and then it faded into history and became a ghost town before residents returned to the area in recent years.
