The Great Piedmont Outdoors

A lovely and very close destination for anyone with a motorhome rental in Piedmont is Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve. The visitors center is a gold mine of information for the geology buff, but even if you can’t tell one rock from another, you can still enjoy the formations and scenic hillsides, as well as the Bay Area skyline in the distance. If you’re lucky, you might spot a gray fox or a raccoon, and there are two man-made labyrinths that have proven to be very popular.

RV Parks in Piedmont

Finding a park for a camper rental near Piedmont, CA might prove tricky but if you don’t mind the 40-minute drive to San Francisco, you can still find lovely spots to spend the night. Candlestick RV Park is one of them and can offer you full hookups, as well as showers, a game room, and a grocery store on site. Treasure Island RV Park is located in the same area and this park has electric and water hookups along with bathhouses, laundry facilities, and an area for dog walking.

Exploring the City of Piedmont

Park your luxury RV rental in Piedmont and have a stroll around in order to experience everything that the small city has to offer. Late in the summer, there’s a harvest festival where the whole city comes together to enjoy food vendors, a carnival, and contest for various edibles. There’s also a farmers market where you can try tasty local produce, and if you’ve seen a one-of-a-kind scarecrow that you like, you can bid on it in the silent auction.

We had a great experience during the entire trip. The van has everything you need for the camping, and James was always there to answer any of questions.

Edwin was awesome. He checked in nearly every day to see how the van and our trip was going. The van was equipped and even over equipped for our travel with lots of plates and dishes and appliances. There was a known issue with the rear door not unlocking sometimes. Edwin explained this and I accepted this risk. Unfortunately the rear door situation deteriorated during our trip to the point where the rear door could no longer be opened. Edwin took the van to the dealership the next day to get this fixed.

We loved our first teardrop trailer family camping experience. Matt was easy to communicate with which made getting the right hitch and picking up the trailer super easy. He explained all the great features and the kitchen had all the tools for a great camping weekend. Will definitely rent again.
