The staff is ready to take care of traditional archers, those who use a compound hunter, and those who just want to shoot targets. All the arrow building supplies necessary are available from the experts in the store. In addition, the store has many arrow rests and sights to choose from. The expert staff organizes leagues that meet on a regular basis. There are classes for those just getting started and experienced archers who want to get some practice. The facilities include a well-lit indoor range with lanes for all guests.
You can relive the gold rush era at the Old Sacramento State Historic Park and explore 296 acres filled with 50 historic buildings. Old Sacramento?s fame lies in it being the last station of the Pony Express postal system in the west, which was the first transcontinental railroad. The historic park has more buildings of historical value than any other place in the West.
Run by California State Parks, this campground, right on the water, has 175 sites. Available amenities include: RV Dump, paid showers, flush toilets and dogs are allowed, with some restrictions. There are no hookups for an RV, however, but the park is reasonably easy to navigate in your RV rental.
The Campground by the Lake is an incredible campground right by the lake. Featuring multiple RV sites, campgrounds, a recreation complex with pool, gym and basketball, along with an ice rink, this campground is THE place to go for a wonderful vacation. Sites are huge inside this park so fear not the RV rental you choose but take your time as the trees don't give! Once in you can walk, bike, or take the bus to everywhere there is to be in South Lake Tahoe.
Tucked into San Joaquin Valley near Lodi, is the Flag City RV Resort. This is the perfect resort for the big boy RV?s with roomy sites on offer. Each site comes equipped with water and sewer, amp electric, direct TV, and site wide WIFI. A picnic area in each site ensures comfort and privacy for dining and relaxing. There is a total of 180 full hook-up sites, with 136 pull through available. Each site has a cement pad for your RV. Also onsite is a swimming pool, heated spa, clubhouse, library and convenience store. This park is wonderfully peaceful, and is the perfect spot to take the family for a trip. With 24-hour surveillance, your safety and security are very important to the staff here. Aside from the top notch facilities, there are also some wonderful attractions nearby such as the many vineyards in Lodi Country.
The world famous Folsom Lake offers a ton of RV camping options along the scenic shores. As a bonus the American River trail ends here allowing you to hop on the bikes and ride a paved multi-use trail all the way down into Sacramento (just not that down part because it is uphill all the way back!) RV sites are available both with and without hookups so if you want to save some money on a campsite get a RV rental with a generator and book a primitive site.
From concerts by big name artists, to live music in a restaurant and club by local musicians, to someone with a guitar just passing through, the air around tahoe is positively humming with music!
