Marin Park is the closest recreational vehicle park to San Francisco--just 10 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and only 14 miles from Berkeley. If you need a break from driving you can take a ferry or bus into San Francisco. The Muir Woods, Napa and Sonoma Valley, and Pt. Reyes and many other California attractions are within reach. This park has been busy so may not be available for your RV rental trip but may be an option for the shake-down night out.
TrainTown offers a quarter scale railroad on 4 miles of track. Each train trip lasts 20-minutes and takes you through tunnels, over bridges and makes a stop in Lakeview a miniature town and petting zoo. Visitors can also have fun at the six amusement rides.
