Located just north of Oakland, California, the city of Richmond sits right along San Francisco Bay. Depending on where you are in Richmond, if you head down to the water and look southwest, you can see Angel Island State Park, Alcatraz Island, and possibly even the Golden Gate Bridge, depending on visibility at that particular time of day. It’s a decent place to search for an RV in Richmond because of its proximity to numerous parks, natural wonders, and incredible scenery. For example, you’re only a short drive away from Point Reyes National Seashore near Inverness. Head a bit east, southeast and you can visit Mount Diablo in Morgan Territory Regional Preserve, just to the east of Walnut Creek. You can also check out Golden Gate National Recreation Area just north of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge.
