Another option is Lilac Oaks RV Park and Campground, which offers water and electrical hookups in addition to a swimming pool and laundry facilities. The park lies just north of Valley Center but is nestled into the mountains, giving it a much more rustic feel.
Exploring the Town of Valley Center
There isn’t too much in the way of shopping in Valley Center as most residents drive to either Temecula or Escondido to do it there. That being said, there are a few interesting little shops along the main street if you don’t feel like driving to the next town over.

The camper was amazing; it had everything we needed for an easy trip. Kevin was easy to communicate with and the entire process was easy even though it was my first time renting such a vehicle. We had a great experience renting the r-pod from Joe. The trailer was in excellent condition - the bed was comfortable and all appliances worked perfectly. It comfortably fit 2 people and a small dog. Joe was very friendly and helpful - providing us with plenty of information and tips about the trailer. We'd love to rent from him again in the future.
