The island is great fun for scuba divers to explore for one reason in particular. Back in 1895, Thomas LeCount decided he wanted to move his house from one side of the lake to the other, choosing to do so when the lake was frozen. The weight of the house cracked the ice, and it fell to the bottom of the lake, where it remains today, still completely intact. People often chose to scuba dive down to explore the house and the majority of its furnishings, including an upright piano. It is not something that you see every day at the bottom of a lake.Gardner Lake is a popular place to get an RV rental for another reason; it is the home of Connecticut's smallest park. This was a wonderful experience. Eric and Danielle were great hosts. They were clear and helpful in their communications and always replied in a timely manner. Lil’ Luna exceeded our expectations. The camper was very clean and well equipped. We would love to rent it again. Thank you so much for a fabulous week!
Every part of the process with Tara was easy. The RV was very clean and in mint condition. No issues at all. We enjoyed a great weekend with “Lucky” and would rent again.
Another wonderful vacation made possible by Bob. The process was seemless. Bob's camper was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thanks again for everything!
