Visible in a 10-mile radium, nearby Chestnut Mountain resort is quite the destination no matter the time of year. Primarily a ski resort, there are plenty of places where you can test your skills on the slopes. There are also many other facilities at the resort, including swimming pools, restaurants, a hot tub, and a snowboarding terrain park. The Village Ski Center is a 20,000 square foot space, housing an apparel shop, ticketing outlet, ski school and lots more, and can be a great place to head after a day on the lake in your RV rental.
