Covering over 1800-acres of pristine parkland, Rock Creek Regional Park welcomes you on a motorhome camping trip. Located in the state of Maryland in Rockville, the park is home to the scenic Lake Needwood, spread over 75-acres, and the smaller Lake Frank at about 55-acres, both forks of Rock Creek. And not just lakes; Rock Creek Regional Park is known for its woodlands that offer fantastic hiking trails, a variety of resident wildlife, and the Meadowside Nature Center, attractions that are ideal for outdoor recreationists. Camping at Rock Creek Regional Park is a delight for anglers and water lovers as the lakes offer great fishing, boating, and water sports.
Renting an RV is a convenient way of accessing the park, and you’ll find a range of affordable RV rentals in Montgomery County. Not too far away is the US state capitol, Washington, DC, and the city of Baltimore.
