In Rockport, visit Motif #1. Situated on Bradley Wharf, this red fishing shack is thought to be one of the most painted structures in the country. While a replica of the original shack, this attraction was once a popular destination for artists in the 1800s who wanted to learn the basics of painting light and other aspects of composition.

While in Rockport, take a quick walk over to Cape Ann, which is surrounded by colonial homes and offers stunning coastal views. Visitors can hike down the local beach or visit one of its handful of museums. This picturesque spot is also known for its fried clams, and visitors can stop by one of Cape Ann’s many seafood restaurants to try them.
