If you are looking for something fun to do for the whole family, head over to Greeley Park in Nashua. It covers 125 acres, and dominates the north end of Nashua. It is covered by woods and open spaces, and the Merrimack River flows through it. It's a beautiful place to spend a day, so why not bring a picnic or use the grills which are available all over the park? There are playgrounds and a wading pool for the kids, ball fields, tennis courts, hiking paths in the woods, horseshoe pits, a community gardening center, and even a boat ramp which gives you access to the river. During the summer, weekly concerts take place here and there are also special activities for the kids. In the winter, you can get your snowshoes out and have fun throwing snowballs and building snowmen. The park is dog friendly, so bring you best friend for a good hike.

This Victorian gothic 19-room house was Mark Twain?s home from 1874-1891. In this beautiful mansion Mark Twain wrote his masterpieces such as The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and the Prince and the Pauper. Come ready to experience the author?s life and learn much about his work and the times in which he lived. The museum also hosts many eclectic events such as "Tapping into Twain" Oktoberfest, Tom Sawyer Day and the Ice Cream Social.
