The Great Outdoors
Maple River State Game Area is a popular spot for area hunters and is Mid Michigan’s largest wetlands area. Even if you don’t have the equipment or permits for hunting here, it’s a fantastic place to do some hiking or wildlife watching. Stick to the eastern section of the park and take a stroll along the dikes to see some beautiful birds feeding in the ponds below.

Most of the parks in the area are located closer to Lansing or Interstate 69, which runs between the capital and Flint. The camper was easy to tow with our 1/2 ton and a great size for our family of 4. Justin worked with us on the drop off / pickup times and was quick to respond to requests. It’s simple to setup and tear down which made it easier to move campgrounds while we were in the U.P. It’s a great option to go enjoy the outdoors without the hassle of a bigger rig. 100% would book this again.
