RV rental Wildwood State Park, NY: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

Grab a picnic, some friends, an RV rental, and some swimming suits and head to Wildwood State Park for some quality beach time. The park has two miles of beautiful beach, with the glistening waters of the Long Island Sound beckoning in swimming during the hot summers of New York. Large sand dunes are also waiting to be explored, so if you don't fancy sitting relaxing, then a walk along the sound is always a pleasant experience. There are 12 miles of marked trails in the park, offering some of the best hiking opportunities in Long Island. Due to the terrain, hiking up to the peak of the bluff offers some incredible views of the Long Island Sound and beyond. There are several trail loops ranging from around two miles to five miles, all of which are wide and very well marked, and maps are provided along the way. At dusk, it's not uncommon to spot the many white-tailed deer that call the park their home. There is always something going on in Wildwood State Park. During the summer months, movies are shown a couple of times a week. There is nothing better than huddling under the stars and watching your favorite actors or actresses to the sound of the waves and forest in the background. For those that fancy a little something different, every Friday you can go and do a little line or square dancing. One of the biggest draws of the park calendar is Fall Festival, so be sure to check the calendar of events before booking your RV camping at Wildwood State Park.
