Approximately an hour's drive south of Toledo, Tiffin is a small city in the heart of Ohio with lots to impress you when you rent an RV. This charming community dates back to 1812 when settlers first began to arrive in town and build taverns, schoolhouses, homes, and stagecoach paths. The name Tiffin was chosen in honor of Edward Tiffin, the first governor of Ohio after it became a state. In 1821, the town of Tiffin officially became the seat of Seneca County, and in 1835, it was finally incorporated as a city.

Malabar Farm State Park is a lovely farm turned state park once owned by the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Louis Bromfield. This historic farm adequately romanticizes farm life, with undeniably beautiful landscapes and old buildings. The park is even known to host some fun festivals like the Maple Sugaring Festival and the Heritage Days Festival.

There isn’t an overwhelming number of campgrounds near Tiffin, but there are still a few to choose from. You can try Walnut Grove RV Park, a family-friendly establishment with nice features. There is a swimming pool, basketball courts, swimming areas in the lake, fishing spots, two playgrounds, and a camp store.
City Sightseeing
Tiffin is one of the most happening places in Seneca County and northern Ohio as a whole. You can find a variety of places to spend your time when you rent an RV in this dreamy little town, complete with quaint village streets and amazing bridges connecting both sides of the Sandusky River. Amidst the historic homes and structures sits the Seneca County Museum, an invaluable resource where you can dive into the past and learn about the history of Seneca County and Tiffin. The halls of this small museum are adorned with old-time photographs, important artifacts, and informative displays helping paint a picture of how the town came into existence.

I rented the View from Heath and it was pure magic! Easy to drive, plenty of room with the slide out for my two pups and I, and super comfy! Heath was excellent to work with - he checked in with me throughout my trip to make sure everything was good to go and the process was seamless. I will definitely be renting from Heath again.
