About an eight-mile drive from Wellsboro, and 10 miles from Mansfield lies Hills Creek State Park. Established in 1953, the park is named for Hills Creek that meanders through it. The 137 acre Hills Creek Lake sits at the heart of the park. Many outdoor activities for both summer and winter draw Tioga campers here. Cruise over to the park and enjoy the many water activities on its lake waters ranging from fishing, kayaking, and boating. If you want to stick on land, there are interesting activities to choose from, including hiking, wildlife viewing, and cross-country skiing.
