We've loved camping around Northern California in our Chalet camper, and want to share the experience with you. We used to owned a traditional popup, and got tired of the labor involved in cranking it up, and the low ceiling. What a difference with an A-Frame! When traveling the 4 walls come down, but while camping the trailer has a very tall center ceiling. There's an electric lift for easy setup, and it takes just a few minutes to accomplish.

My family and I have only gone tent camping and usually have only done it with another family. So, when I decided I wanted to try out a small camper with just the family and I, I didn’t know where to start. Luckily, I found Dan and his Chalet camper.

The camper was comfy and I used it primarily as an office during the month I was visiting my family. Dan was very responsive and went above and beyond expectations to make sure I understood all the features of the camper. It is an older model but more than enough for a nice camping trip!

The trailer met our needs and we had a lovely visit to the northwest. Easy setup, take down and hookup and the trailer was comfortable (with heat) even on freezing nights. Owner was reachable and in communication when needed. The owner also compensated issues when they arose.

Dan was extremely friendly and helpful in preparing us. The trailer itself was easy to set up, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a casual trailer camping experience. It helped that we are experienced trailer campers, but the rental was very easy.

The Chalet was a really fun experience and I'd recommend to anyone wanting to be in nature/campgrounds while having more comfort than a tent.

Dan is a fantastic host. Walked me though everything so that I was very prepared. This was my first RV rental, so I appreciated his willingness to respond to all my questions before, and during, the trip.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
The trailer can be picked up or dropped off before 3 pm, by pre-arrangement.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The trailer has a 15 gallon tank which can be filled up with a garden hose. It can be supplied with shore power using its 30 amp plug or the supplied 3-prong adapter. The gray water tank can empty directly to a sewer line or a dump station. The cassette toilet can be emptied and flushed in a pit toilet or bathroom toilet. The trailer also works off grid for a few days at a time.
