2001 Jeep Cherokee
This limited edition Jeep Cherokee with very comfortable roof top tent has taken us on adventures throughout the west. We've really enjoyed setting up camp wherever whims take us, whether in the Arizona deserts, up on the mountains of Colorado, or along the beaches of California.Originally my dad's, this Jeep has been in my family a long time. It was the last year of Jeep production that used the venerable 4.0L six cylinder engine, which we've recently had overhauled so that it can give us another twenty years of enjoyable driving. I've modified it to better navigate back country roads, with a Rough Country lift kit and larger tires on modern rims.The four season CVT roof top tent is extremely comfortable, with a memory foam mattress that is as wide as a king but even longer. We enjoy watching the stars through the built-in skylight as we go to sleep at night and then lazily discussing our plans for the day as we look out the spacious windows in the morning. Built-in LED light and USB charging ports let you keep the cell phone nearby or have convenient light to read a book.What's includedBlankets and pillows are furnished by request. A folding step stool is included to help with setting up the tent. Please let us know if you'd like the use of a camp stove, ice cooler, power inverter, or camp chairs. Other things to noteWe built the Jeep to navigate forest service roads that a passenger car would struggle to get through. However, it's not for more intense off-roading. If it's not on a map, we ask you to not go there. Thanks for understanding.The Jeep has never been smoked in. I'm (Kendel) allergic to the stuff and need to keep it that way. Please no smoking in or even around our Jeep.

We had a great time. The jeep is very cool and we got a lot of admirers! Bed is large and very comfortable. The jeep can drive everywhere. Kendel provided us all the necessary camping gear for free. We had a small issue with the car but Kendel drove over to us to repair it immediately. If We come back to Tucson we would rent it again!
