Discover Haymarket RV rentals for memorable road trips

If you are looking for a charming southern town for your next vacation getaway, book an RV in Haymarket, Virginia. About 35 miles to the west of downtown Washington D.C., this tiny village in Prince William County is absolutely steeped in history, from the inception of the United States, and before the revolutionary war. Haymarket is nicknamed “The Crossroads” because it is situated on former Iroquois native hunting grounds where two major hunting paths intersected. Nowadays, the town lies on a newer incarnation of these crossroads, at the junction of both US Highway 15/501 and Interstate 66. The interstate takes travelers all the way to Alexandria, Baltimore, and many other cities on the east coast, in addition to the capital of the United States.

Explore the Outdoors

Virginia is diverse with regards to its incredible natural beauty. The state boasts breathtaking coastal beaches, stunning bays, lush wetlands, and ancient Appalachian Mountains in the western part of the state, all of which are inherently easily accessible to those with an RV rental in Haymarket, Virginia. The tiny town is centrally located in the region and within driving distance to many fun-filled parks, forests, and nature preserves.

City Sightseeing

Although Haymarket is extremely tiny, the town’s surrounding area has lots to see when you vacation there. Due to its location, the small town and many of its neighbors were caught in the thick of things during both the American Revolutionary War, and the American Civil War. During the Civil War, much of the town was burned to the ground by Union troops, so a lot has been lost. Fortunately, Haymarket still retains some pre-war history to speak of. St Paul’s Church is one of the few buildings that survived the Civil War and is a beautiful reminder of how the area once looked. Locust Bottom, Mt. Atlas, and the Old Town Hall and School are also all on the National Register of Historic Places, and all are worth a visit to admire the architecture.

RV Parks to Visit

Haymarket is located right along a major interstate corridor, and has lots of spots to fuel up when you rent an RV. Additionally, there is a Walmart Supercenter in the downtown area so you can easily find what you need and stock up on supplies.

Marcus was awesome, we rented this RV for our employees onsite to support us during a very busy production cycle, price was very reasonable. He even ordered us an extension for the gray water tank drain, communication was great. Could not recommend enough
