If visiting all those historic buildings in Washington has worn you out, then it can be refreshing to spend a day doing something totally different and new. Earth Treks Climbing Center in Rockville is an exciting destination if you are a daredevil at heart and relish the idea of climbing sheer rock faces for fun.
There is a variety of activities on offer here, so there should be something to suit different ages and ability levels. You can come along to open climb (age 5+) and see how you get on, although the center highly recommends receiving some instruction before you tackle any of the climbing walls.
