Claytor Lake State Park is not far from town, found on the human-made Claytor Lake. This charming state park is a fantastic place for fishing and swimming, with a handful of sports fishing tournaments for serious anglers. Deluxe hiking trails and lovely views of the lake make for quite the experience. Smith Mountain Lake State Park is very similar, with lakefront views that will leave you inspired and blissful. There are public beaches, hiking trails, picnicking facilities, and plenty of space to camp out with your Narrows camper rental.

When you rent an RV in Narrows, there are some solid options as far as campgrounds go. Lake Ridge RV Resort is a scenic drive south of town near Hillsville and features cozy cabins, spacious campsites, pools, waterslides, playscapes, an arcade, a movie room, and a camp store.
City Sightseeing
Narrows is a small, lovely town with its fair share of restaurants and local businesses, but nothing that can be considered an attraction. When you rent an RV, however, you'll have the freedom to head off to nearby cities, like Blacksburg to the east. In Blacksburg, there are farmers markets, along with historic homes like the Smithfield Plantation and the Alexander Black House & Cultural Center. The Alexander Black House is a stunning Victorian home with incredibly vibrant paint and iconic features such as the wraparound porch and little tower.
