Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Positioned just about 40 miles due west of Phoenix is Palo Verde, Arizona. It was first settled in 1886 by John Roberts who had directly assisted in the building of the Arizona and Buckeye canals. He also served as a deputy sheriff and cattle inspector in the region during those years. It is positioned right along the Gila River and a short drive from a variety of exceptional destinations.
One absolutely gorgeous place to visit with a motorhome rental from Palo Verde might be Coronado National Forest just past Tucson. If you’re interested in national parks instead, you can drive west along I-10 for a couple of hours and visit Joshua Tree National Park. You also have the option of heading north, picking up I-17 into Flagstaff and visiting Grand Canyon National Park. There are also numerous national forests all around the region, including Prescott National Forest, Coconino National Forest, and Tonto National Forest.
