RV rental Southwick Beach State Park, NY: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

Southwick Beach State Park is fringed by miles of sandy shoreline. It's easy to spend the day soaking up the sun on the beach, splashing in the shallows, and paddling offshore. At dusk, head to the outdoor plaza to chat with fellow campers and enjoy the spectacular Lake Ontario sunsets. Bring your picnic blanket down to the beach and enjoy lunch with uninterrupted views over Lake Ontario. You'll also find wooden picnic tables dotting the shoreline. Of course, no picnic is complete without a bottle of Thousand Island dressing. Grassy playing fields make Southwick Beach State Park a prime place to put together a game of softball or frisbee. Southwick Beach State Park is also a paradise for anglers, with excellent salmon and trout fishing. Cast a line from the beach or launch a fishing boat and try your luck in deeper water. Short trails wind through the park and are great for stretching your legs. The Big Beech Trail features flat terrain that’s accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Leisurely strolls along the beach are also an excellent way to explore the shoreline. In winter, the snow-dusted trails of Southwick Beach State Park transform into a playground for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The rolling dunes also make Southwick Beach a rewarding snowmobiling destination.
