Discover Douglas RV rentals for memorable road trips

Just about 120 miles southeast of Tucson on the US-Mexican border is the small town of Douglas. Due to its location on the border, Douglas sees quite a bit of traffic coming in and out of the city. When you rent an RV in Douglas, you can embark on an international excursion in the span of a day, and be back in time for dinner around a campfire. Once a mining town, Douglas was abandoned and then reestablished as the city it is today.

RV Parks Near Douglas

Much like Douglas, Bisbee was also a mining town for many years. There's a campground in the city called Queen Mine RV Park that's dedicated to the miners and the history of the town. They have daily, weekly, and monthly stay options available. The scenery is still the same as it was in the mining days, which immerses campers in the life of a worker back then. Full hookups, cable TV, and high-speed internet are all offered at this scenic park. Pets are welcome here, and the park is within walking distance of the historic downtown area.

We had an amazing trip! The camper was spacious and comfortable, and the hosts were very responsive and friendly. However, we did experience a couple of issues. The battery, which was supposed to last throughout the trip, only lasted one night. Additionally, the water cap wasn't fully secured. Despite these minor inconveniences, we still enjoyed our time overall.

Mike was so easy to work with and the trailer was perfect! The interior is so comfortable, it’s like a home away from home. We set up at my daughter’s house who lives in Wilcox, so picking up the trailer was easy. The next time we take the trip from Florida with our Golden Retriever we will definitely rent it again.
