White Oak Lake is located in southwestern Arkansas, between the towns and cities of Camden, Hope, and Arkadelphia. The lake was created in 1961 by the damming and impounding of the Red River and was the second largest lake created by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Soon after its completion, White Oak Lake gained a famous reputation for its lakeside recreation. This reputation, combined with its surrounding countryside, makes White Oak Lake the ideal place to take an RV rental. Driving to White Oak Lake with a rental RV is easily navigated as Interstate 30 passes directly north of the lake. Camping with an RV is also made more accommodating with many campsites located near the lake.
