Campbell, California is a mostly suburban city to the south of the San Francisco Bay Area. Considered a part of Silicon Valley, this bedroom community of neighboring San Jose is known for its bevy of shopping malls, boutiques, and historic sites. Although it was not formally incorporated until 1952, Campbell was alive and well with throngs of settlers who moved west to open sawmills, ranches, farms, or pan for gold during the gold rush. The town is named for Benjamin Campbell who purchased much of the land that makes up much of the historic downtown to this day.

John D. Morgan Park is an elegant park located in central Campbell, with wide open grassy fields, and shaded playground areas. Three picnic areas are found throughout the park, all three of which are open to the public from sunrise to sunset. Los Gatos Creek Park is possibly the best and biggest park found in town, and should be seen at least once when you book a rental RV in Campbell. Various recreation activities can be found within Los Gatos Creek Park, as well as the lovely nature trail that weaves its way through several towns in the area. The peaceful Los Gatos Creek Trail is ideal for cycling, walking, jogging, or rollerblading.
City Sightseeing
Those who book a rental motorhome near Campbell, are drawn to the lovely Downtown Campbell Farmers Market. The market is held each Sunday, with numerous vendors selling fresh produce, artisan wine and beer, crafts, paintings, and many other cool trinkets for friends and family back home. Santana Row and Pruneyard Shopping Center are two of the local retail areas that are popular with both locals and tourist. You can find nearly anything in these two massive complexes, like movie theaters, tasty cuisine, or clothing outlets.
