Loomis RV Park near Roseville, California is part of the quaint town where families thrive in a quality community. The town was established in 1850 and incorporated in 1984. The town has a rural atmosphere and charm because of the large lots for most of the homes. The downtown area is old-fashioned and charming. The woodlands surrounding the campgrounds and the town are filled with pristine streams and rolling hillsides. The campground has sites for pull-thrus and back-ins. In total, there are 79 spaces for Big Rig and all other types of vehicles. There is either 50 or 30 amp electric service. Pets are welcome, and there are areas to take them for a lovely walk. There is an excellent laundry room and clean bathrooms as well as showers. The children will love the playground, the pool, and the Cable TV. In addition, along with the adults, they will thoroughly enjoy the shade from the beautiful landscape and magnificent trees.
The California State Railroad Museum complex consists of six original, reconstructed, and new buildings. Over 225,000 square feet of total exhibit space, there are many things you can learn about the unique past and culture of the West. Many interactive exhibits demonstrate the importance of railroads in everyday life. The 21 restored locomotives include a Pullman style sleeping car and a Railway Post Office that visitors can actually board.

The focused study using the observatory includes planetary, deep sky, NEO studies, photometry, and astrophotography. The observatory is operated by a trustee appointed by the family. The facilities were established in September of 2010. The staff at the observatory hosts star parties in order to get the people in the community to be excited about the sky above them at night. They focus is on providing educational programs for members of the community. All the members of the community and visitors are welcome to these special events.
