The campground has a staff devoted to maintaining a comfortable atmosphere and superb amenities. There are excellent sites with 30/50 amp supplies for pull-thru accommodations with room for vehicles up to 105?. The pool is heated from March thru October. There is a recreation room, dog park, and fishing waters close by. Campers will be happy to do their laundry in the excellent facilities on the grounds. Propane is available from staff. The 24 Karat Grill is open from 8 am to 1pm with delicious breakfast foods, burgers, and much more. Campers will find that the campground is in a great location for travel to interesting attractions in the area. The staff organizes many activities at the park including bingo games, smores around the campfire, and crafts for kids. The playground is a great attraction for the children in the family.

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area ? Beal's Point

If you enjoy parking up in State Parks, and want to be within reach of Rancho Cordova in California, then Folsom Lake State Recreation Area can make for a good choice. It is less than ten miles from Rancho Cordova, and has a number of campgrounds offering a range of facilities. Beal?s Point has space for approaching 70 RVs, and can accommodate vehicles up to 31 feet long. There are no electric hook-up points here, but piped drinking water is available, and there is a trailer dump station. Beal?s Point is open throughout the year, but it is advisable to book ahead during peak season. Folsom Lake State Recreation Area itself is a great place to visit, and you can enjoy a range of outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing and boating. If you are keen to do some watersports, Lake Natoma, just downstream from Folsom lake is the place for sailing and kayaking.

Folsom Lake State Recreation Area has quite a number of campgrounds, and facilities vary, but Beal?s Point can accommodate RVs up to 31 feet long, and is a family friendly site with space for just under 70 vehicles. The site is open all year round, but does not offer individual electric hook up points. It does, however, have piped drinking water, and a trailer dump station. If you are visiting during peak season, be sure to make a reservation ahead of your visit. The park itself has a great deal to offer its visitors, and you can really make the most of being outdoors with activities like hiking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing and boating. Lake Folsom itself has fish such as trout, bass, perch and catfish. Lake Natoma is just downstream, and is a place where you can do some sailing or kayaking.

The focused study using the observatory includes planetary, deep sky, NEO studies, photometry, and astrophotography. The observatory is operated by a trustee appointed by the family. The facilities were established in September of 2010. The staff at the observatory hosts star parties in order to get the people in the community to be excited about the sky above them at night. They focus is on providing educational programs for members of the community. All the members of the community and visitors are welcome to these special events.
