It was established in 1844 when Juan Jose Warner received a land grant (Rancho San Jose del Valle) from Mexico and promptly renamed it Warner Springs. It has an association with the Oak Grove Butterfield Stage Station and Warner’s Ranch, two National Historic Landmarks, and is not far from the Palomar Observatory. It is most well-known for its hot springs, which have attracted people from the very beginning and became a favorite Hollywood hangout during Hollywood's golden era. At first approach, Warner Springs doesn't appear to be anything more than just another small desert town but once inside, its appeal is instantly recognizable.

The Great Outdoors
Palomar Mountain State Park is high up on the west side of Palomar Mountain in northern San Diego County. The park is largely covered with coniferous forests consisting of large pine, fir, and cedar tree stands. Evenings are cool even in the summer due to the elevation, so hikers planning to camp overnight should dress appropriately. A number of spots within the park have panoramic views westward towards the ocean and eastward towards the desert.

Where do I start? So David is super cool. Very chill and VERY kind and communicative. I’d rent again just because he is so awesome. He’s awesome because he let us know while we did the walk around of the RV that we could FaceTime, text, call him anytime for help. Luckily it never came to that because it was the easiest vehicle to drive. It’s just like a really big van, or driving a U-Haul. We have never driven an rv and drove it up the 1 for my kids birthday and the kids had a BALL. It has a shower. Hookups. Sink. All the things you need. We overpacked because we didn’t realize it had lawn chairs, towels, soap, pots and pans, and etc. basically, an Airbnb on wheels. It had two air mattresses, a bed above the drivers seat, and one bed in the back. I mean what else could you need? Rent this RV if you want a smooth road trip and a cool owner who helps when needed. Would definitely rent again if we ever needed another RV.

Just amazing!!! We are first timers and Kerri went over everything in detail. We left to our trip feeling confident and felt super comfortable throughout the entire trip. This van is so nice and easy to use. We felt so attached to it, so sad when we had to turn it in. Just a beautiful experience from start to end. Thank you so much, Kerri! Unforgettable experience!
