This state park RV campground covers 544 acres and is within easy reaching distance to both Hopeville and Pauhaug Pond.

The nearest town to Pachaug Pond would be Griswold, located to the north. There are a few places of note to visit when you are in town, such as the Griswold Historical Society Museum, where you can learn all about the history of the town and surrounding area.
