Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.
Native Americans have lived and hunted in the region around Lake Huntley in Florida for well over a thousand years, or so archeological digs have found. The most recent tribe, the Seminoles Native Americans, resided near Lake Huntley up till the 1850s. However, after the Seminoles War that ended in 1858, most of the Seminoles chose to move to the Everglades region rather than risk outright extermination. Though the region saw Europeans settlers move through the area toward southern Florida, the first people to farm and plant orchards in the area didn’t come till the late 1800s.
