If you’d like to stay close to the city, check out the Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, Range Pond State Park, or Androscoggin Riverlands State Park. The Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary lies in the center of Lewiston, making it the perfect mini-getaway. This urban oasis is home to a variety of bird species and recreational activities like hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing are highly encouraged. For a relaxing day on the water, head to Range Pond State Park, which offers boating, fishing, and swimming opportunities as well as short, easy hiking and biking trails. Plus, in the wintertime, visitors can snowshoe and cross-country ski. Hiking enthusiasts, however, should head to Androscoggin Riverlands, which is just north of the city in Turner. This park offers over 10 miles of multi-use trails as well as activities like canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and winter sports.

Tim was super helpful and the van was perfect for an Acadia getaway (and a Maine getaway in general!). I highly recommend renting from Tim!

Frank was great to work with and very helpful in explaining the in's and out's of the van when you pick up. He even offered picking up and taking to the airport after drop off. The van includes all the essentials you need for cooking and camping and even includes some inside privacy curtains for when you are inside and need extra privacy. The van is easy to drive and maneuver around towns. I would rent this van from Frank again.

Turn key! We walked into this c sped all set up, beds made, rugs rolled out and ready to drop our luggage and enjoy the outdoors. This camper has EVERYTHING you need! Plenty of room! huge dining table and seating. Leather couch for patriot game viewing on the flat screen TV provided!! This couch also is a pull out bed.
My kids loved the oversized bunks, the easy ladder, that tucked away when not using. The bathroom was perfect with the private entrance in and out of the camper so sand and dirt didn’t get tracked though the entire camper. Vanity mirror storage was perfect for 4 of us. The master bed was greet, another TV ! Plenty of clothes storage and overhead storage. Again plenty of blankets and sheets. I also have to add every cooking utensil, plates, silverware, cups, you name it. The camper had it all. I very much appreciated the trash bags, Lysol wipes, plenty of dish soap and cleaning materials. Mike was easy to communicate with and any questions we had, he was quick to answer. We prefer to bring our keurig and croc pot for camping trips and they fit perfectly on the spacious counter. The outdoor blue LED lights my kids loved. This is the THE camper to rent.
