Temple Hills, Maryland is a small unincorporated area in Prince George’s County. It’s believed to have been named after Dr. Edward Temple, who was a prominent citizen. While a small area in the state, it was once well-known throughout the East Coast for its love of horseracing which can still be seen today in the now abandoned Rosecroft Raceway.
