Make your way to the town of Winchendon in north-central Massachusetts to Lake Dennison Recreation Area for a motorhome camping trip. With an area of 121-acres, the recreation area is a part of the much larger Birch Hill Flood Control Project that occupies close to 4200-acres of land and is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The area comes under the Otter River State Forest. Lake Dennison is the main attraction here and offers a range of recreational activities to visitors. Late spring is great for trout fishing in the lake, while largemouth bass and chain pickerel are available in warmer months through autumn and winter. 

Non-motorized boating like canoeing and kayaking are popular on Lake Dennison. There is a boat ramp at the lake that provides easy access for boaters. 

Swimming is sought-after at Lake Dennison. There is a swimming beach with designated swimming areas at the lake. Keep in mind that the use of the beach area and swimming is restricted to timings. 

RV camping at Lake Dennison Recreation Area also gives you access to hunting areas. Massachusetts state laws and regulations are in effect for hunting in the area where you can find white-tailed deer, pheasants, ducks, turkeys, and native ruffled grouse for hunting.

It has 60 campsites, and features include big rig access, tent camping, full hookups, 20, 30, and 50 amp electric service, sewer, water, dump station, central water spigot, WIFI, and cell phone coverage. Also available are restrooms, shower stalls, laundry facilities, a clubhouse, firewood, and propane. Kids will have a blast splashing about in the swimming pool and running around in the playground. Worcester County campers have plenty to explore in the areas surrounding Lake Dennison Recreation Area. About 46 miles away is the city of Worcester that also serves as the county seat of Worcester County.
