Discover Coldwater rentals for memorable road trips

Looking for an enchanting small city to spend your next vacation? Book an RV in Coldwater, Michigan, and you'll be located approximately halfway between Lansing and Fort Wayne, Indiana. This charming town was first settled by European settlers in the early 19th century, although the Potawatomi indigenous people inhabited the area for centuries before that. After the British ceded control of the newly established Michigan territory, Coldwater was incorporated in 1837 and later designated a city in 1861.

Coldwater shares its name with the Coldwater River that flows through its city limits, originating in the chain of lakes to the south of town. There are incredible lakes, parks, and other outdoor areas to look into when you decide to rent an RV in this lovely southern Michigan community, and the town itself supplements this beautiful bounty of nature with a delightful atmosphere in a historical, cultured setting. Tons of historical buildings and cultural institutions like the Tibbits Opera House line the main streets of Coldwater, and there are frequent celebrations and events occurring throughout the year, like the Apple Fest, the Strawberry Fest, and the Ice Festival, all of which showcase the town and help to celebrate fine food, soulful music, inspiring artwork, and an assortment of other fun activities.

This magical forest was established in 1909, with nearly 500,000 acres of forestland and wilderness near the shores of Lake Michigan. Whether you spend your time off-roading on the rugged dirt roads of the park’s wilderness or enjoy some scenic sunsets on Lake Michigan's dune-laden beaches, you will appreciate your time spent in this stunning natural area.
