Its lightweight design and compact size mean you can tow it with almost any car without the stress of handling a massive trailer. For those who may struggle with backing up (like me), don't worry– the T@G is so light that you can easily unhitch and push the trailer into the perfect spot of your choice.Cozy Comforts: Picture yourself snuggled inside, wrapped in a blanket, and gazing at the stars through the stargazer window at night. The T@G offers a queen-size bed, storage, A/C, TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speakers, outlets, and both interior and exterior lighting.Unplug and Reconnect: The T@G encourages you to spend your time outdoors and reconnect with the natural world. Imagine spending your day hiking, exploring, and immersing yourself in the great outdoors, then returning to your cozy camper to relax and recharge.Outdoor Cooking: The outdoor cooking experience is at the heart of what makes camping so special. The outdoor kitchen features a dual propane stove, a 12V electric cooler, a sink, an 8-gallon water tank, an outdoor shower, and options for a water pump or water hookups. And if you prefer not to pack cooking supplies, opt for the kitchen essentials add-on.Off-the-Grid Freedom: Equipped with solar and generator options, a marine battery, and an 8-gallon water tank, you can camp comfortably without electric or water hookups. Experience the freedom of camping in private, picturesque locations but with the comfort of modern conveniences.Pet Friendly: Don't leave your adventure buddy at home! Ask for the pet bunk bed to give your furry companion a cozy space to rest without sacrificing your legroom.Book your adventure today and discover the fun and whimsy of teardrop camping!

One of my absolute favorite places to camp is Hickory Run State Park in the Pocono Mountains. Only a few hours drive from the Harrisburg area, I highly recommend camping here for a multitude of reasons.Natural Beauty: Hickory Run State Park boasts stunning landscapes with pristine hiking trails and the famous Boulder Field.Outdoor Adventures: From fishing in the picturesque Sand Spring Lake to swimming in the crystal-clear waters, you'll find plenty of opportunities to cool off on a hot summer day. For the more adventurous, there's also kayaking, mountain biking, wildlife watching, and white water rafting on the Lehigh.Scenic Beauty: Hickory Run State Park is known for scenic hikes and waterfalls. The Shades of Death trail is a must-see.Family-Friendly Fun: The park is perfect for picnics and offers engaging interpretive programs for all ages. Make sure to visit the nearby town of Jim Thorpe for a fun day of shopping and exploring.
Other things to noteRules:
Pets welcome! (Pet fee listed in the add-ons)
No smoking
No gas heaters (example Buddy Heaters)
No off-roading (with the exception of county and state-maintained roads)
No travel outside of the US into Canada or Mexico
Important notes:
The water system (water pump, 8 gal water tank, and outdoor shower) will be winterized and unavailable in the winter months (November-March). Because of this you will have to pack in water separately or use campground water.
There is no built in heater. Propane heaters are not allowed. You may bring an electric plug-in space heater. To tow comfortably its recommended you have a car with at least a 1500lbs tow capacity and 140 lb tongue weight capacity. The dry weight is 1300 lbs and wet weight is 1400. These weights DO NOT include the weight of gear. You must have a 4-pin or 7-pin trailer plug connection and a 2" hitch. The hitch height is 21".The A/C and household outlets (110V) ONLY WORK WHEN CONNECTED TO SHORE POWER OR A GENERATOR. They will not run off the battery. Everything else but the A/C and 110 outlets will run off the battery. If camping without shore power, plan battery use efficiently. Solar management can be tricky! The marine battery has 40 amp-hours (480 watt-hours) of usable power. Solar will recharge the battery, but if weather conditions are cloudy it may take longer to charge/not charge. It is recommended you bring a generator if you are new to camping off-grid (I do not have one available to rent at this time). There is no gray water tank so you must bring a container/bucket to collect water from the sink.Remember there is no toilet or indoor shower. You cannot stand up in the trailer. However, you will quickly learn to master the "shake and shimmy" for changing clothes :)

Meet your host, Erin

Member since 2021

My name is Erin and I have been camping since I was a baby! I've always been a tent camper until 2020 when I got my first adorable little teardrop camper named "Teardra". Since then we've been on so many fun adventures. From -6 degree Vermont nights to beach camping on Assateague Island, we've had a blast together. My dog Rey is the ultimate adventure pup and travels almost everywhere with me. My favorite trip to date has been a week long trip to Shenandoah National Park. I loved the beautiful vistas, abundant wildlife, and the never ending supply of hiking trails.
