One of the biggest reasons campers rent an RV in Berlin is due to its proximity to Wharton State Forest. Wharton State Forest covers over 1,000 acres, so there's plenty to discover when you visit here. After enjoying a long hike, visitors are also welcome to take a dip in Atsion Lake while having a picnic or grilling out. Other water recreation includes kayaking, fishing, and canoeing. If you're looking for some history in the forest, then you might want to stop by Batsto Village. This abandoned village was a significant producer of iron in the region during the Revolutionary War, but now it just makes a great place to explore.
RV Parks
There are a few good places to park your camper rental near Berlin. Winding River Campground in May's Landing is one of the options. This campground has over 100 dirt and gravel sites. While most of these sites come with full hookups; about a third of the sites have water and electric only. Lots of amenities are offered on-site, including laundry facilities and showers.
