Cheesequake State Park mentioned before is also a great place to camp overnight in a scenic location. Tip Tam Camping Resort is a bit of a hike from Middletown but might be worth the drive if you feel like treating yourself to a resort experience. The park is close to Six Flags Great Adventures and has its very own horseback riding area and pool for swimming.</p>
