Pleasant Hill Lake lies in northeastern Ohio between the towns of Mansfield, Loudonville, and Ashland. This man-made lake was created in 1936 by the building of a dam across the Clear Fork of Mohican River. Since then, Pleasant Hill Lake has acted as a reservoir to control floods in the area and slowly built up its reputation as an ideal recreational destination.
