American Wilderness Campground and Event Center
The American Wilderness Campground and Event Center is a great place to stay if you want to explore Cleveland, Ohio. It is the nearest RV park to Cleveland and will just take you 35 minutes to get there. You will get partial hookup here and WiFi, and there are clean restrooms and showers, as well as laundry facilities. The park is beautiful. It is surrounded by nature and there are two lakes, one which is fully stocked for fishing, and the other for swimming. Boat rentals are available if you want to have a lazy day on the lake. There is also a tadpole beach with sprinklers and Tiki Huts, which your kids will love. If you decide to stay here for a day instead of exploring the area, you certainly won't be bored. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
For any of you out there who is a music fan, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is the perfect place to go. As you approach the museum, you will hear music blaring out of speakers, and there is quite often a band playing in the grounds. The design of the building is spectacular, the highlight being a glass pyramid. There is so much to see here that you should reserve the whole day for visiting. You can go to the cafe and get a light lunch, while looking out onto the lake. There are quite a few floors, so it's probably best to start at the basement. Here there is plenty of music history and many artifacts, such as instruments and clothes belonging to the stars, as well as original song notes, personal effects, and recording equipment. The exhibits come from all genres of music and different eras, starting from the early 1900s. There are less exhibits as you go up the floors , but there are interactive music booths, which are great fun for both adults and children. On the top floor, there is an auditorium which plays videos about different stars an music in general. In addition, they have temporary exhibits and evening concerts.
