The land upon which Leonard, TX, now dwells was owned by the President of Texas up until 1845. He sold the land, and it changed hands several times over the years. In 1859, E.J. Leonard purchased a parcel of that land for $10,560, which is a little over $325,000 in today’s dollar. Unfortunately, Leonard died while traveling to Missouri a few short years later, and the land went unused until 1880. That year, the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad purchased the tract from Leonard’s heirs, and intending to create a town, named it after E.J. With the railroad station built, a small settlement grew around it.

What a fun weekend! We have been wanting to try out a Noovo Plus, which we think is the absolute best Class B van available. We picked it up right on time with the local hosts, and set out for a few days in an RV park in Fort Worth. From start to finish, Offgrid Camper Vans were very communicative and answered all our questions. The pickup and return process was flawless. This is a great way to try out a Noovo if you're thinking of buying, and also a unique adventure for anyone who has always wanted to stay in a camper van!

Our host, Daniel Benson, was so easy to work with! The pick up and drop off went smoothly. He showed us where everything we would need was located, reviewed all the procedures of using the RV and gave us contact numbers should we have any trouble! The RV was super comfortable as well and made a much needed vacation trouble free! Highly recommend!!
