The Great Outdoors

Anyone who enjoys a road trip knows that the best places to go have great weather and an abundance of cool natural areas to visit. Lynchburg delivers on both fronts with multiple spots to enjoy during your stay. You can find a nice mix of nature and history at Thomas Jefferson Poplar Forest. An old plantation that has been renovated with tours and gardens to explore. Then drive your Lynchburg camper rental over to Percival’s Island Natural Area where you will find some of the best trails in the area. A beautiful placid spot to enjoy the afternoon and have a cookout. You could also try something more local at Peaks View Park and Playground. The second largest park in Lynchburg with playgrounds, trails, sports facilities, and recreational fields for a day full of entertainment.

You can also try Paradise Lake Family Campground in Spout Spring, less than half an hour away when you rent a motorhome in Lynchburg.
