Discover Pe Ell RV rentals for memorable road trips

For those of you who love history, the town of Pe Ell in Lewis County, Washington comes with an interesting historical mystery for you to attempt to solve: the origin of its name. There are several theories that are discussed by locals. One is that the Native Americans living in the area could not pronounce the name of a French-Canadian settler, Pierre Charles, and it became Pe Ell. Another guess is that Pe Ell actually began as P. L., which were the initials of Pierre and his Native American wife. And yet a third story is that the Natives couldn’t pronounce the last name of another Frenchman who settled into the area and married a Native American woman, Charlie Pershell; unable to make the “sh” sound, “Pershell” became “Pe Ell.”

Used by hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders, the trail consists of gently rolling hills and offers a canopy of trees.

The title for this review is... I would absolutely do it again!
This was my first RV rental and had my fingers crossed that the experience would be easy and fun. I'm happy to say that going through Outdoorsy and coordinating with Scot was exactly that! This trip was 4 days at Taidnapam Park in Washington State. I was attending an event sponsored by my employer and from being able to sort options, by amenities like A/C and if it could be delivered to the specific park I was going to be at, was a HUGE time saver. I also loved the fact that the cost of delivery was INCLUDED in the estimated rental cost of my search results. I decided on Scot's 30' 2024 Jayco travel trailer for several reasons. A few of the most important were... 1. I was planning to travel with my sister & best friend, so I was looking for multiple adult sleeping areas. 2. Kitchen area that we could use to prep for individual and potluck style meals. 3. Comfortable seating options. A bonus criteria was overall appearance. This RV was a homerun on everything I was looking for. There were (3) Queen beds; including bunkbeds at the back. It was nice that there were windows on both levels and even the bottom bunk had ok headroom. The master bed was very comfortable, but the bunkbed mattresses were a little thin. I would recommend bringing individual camp sleeping pads for people using these beds. The kitchen area was amazing! Somewhat limited counter space, but the dinette is convenient for prep with the provided cutting boards, bowls, knives & utensils. This set up had the added bonus of keeping the combined living area open & usable while letting you still feel like you were hanging with the group. AND there is a very roomy refrigerator and freezer unit inside and a small fridge in the outdoor kitchen area and a decent sized pantry. We had plenty of room for our food & snacks. Regarding appearance, the pictures show it how it really is. It is well maintained and gave us that Glamping feel. Last note, Scot was easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. The drop off & pick up were problem free. Great experience and I highly recommend this specific RV & host!
